Baby shower favors?

I am hosting my sister-in-law%26#039;s baby shower. I thought for favors that it would be cute to get very small planters, seeds, and soil and package pretty with a poem or something to connect flowers (or seeds) to a new baby....any ideas?

Also, Im looking for a place to buy the supplies so it wont cost a fortune. I remember seeing little seed kits at Target some time ago (they came with everything) for $1 each. DOes anyone know if they still have those?

Try a dollar store. They usually have cool stuff like that. You can also give out candles or picture frames. Places like Michael%26#039;s or craft stores usually have stuff like there too. Good luck!
Reply:choc late or hard tack homemade suckers made into a bouquets are really cute idea
Reply:www.twopeasinabucket.com has a great resource section with poems and quotes.

It is all sorted by category.

I like your idea. You can get those tiny flower pots at ACM for cheap, or even at Walmart. Tie a pretty ribbon with a tag for the poem and that would be cute. You could even spray paint the pots blue and pink to go with the theme.

Check out this cute center piece done with a die cut machine. Hope this helps!

Reply:I%26#039;ve never been to a baby shower where there were party favors. Instead play a game and give out a prize. Google- baby shower games for ideas.

I also have a nice e-book that I got several good ideas out of for my daughters shower, if you%26#039;d like it send me an e-mail and I%26#039;d be happy to share. Have fun!
Reply:Try the Dollar Tree or a Dollar store they should have soemthing. BUt why not do games and when they win they give the gift back to the mother to be.

Reply:Hello,

May I suggest another idea for your baby shower? How about custom wrapped candy bars--even the assorted mini bars with the name of the mother-to-be, the date of the event, etc.

You could even custom wrap small baby bottles with the same info as above.

Good luck!
