I need help writing a thank you note for my parents chuch that gave me a baby shower and also bought me?
Generally when you have a baby shower, you assign a good friend or family member to make a list as each gift is opened. They note the person%26#039;s name who gave the gift %26amp; the item(s) they gave you. Then you need to obtain the addresses for each person (sometimes the list taker will gather a bit of that info during the shower, while everyone is chatting and eating. Then send each person an individual thank you note. Also include a general thank you to the church, addressing it to the person responsible for initiating the shower, %26amp; to the minister, pastor or whoever in that position at your parent%26#039;s church. If you don%26#039;t have everyone%26#039;s individual name %26amp; would have difficulty obtaining it, a single note to the church will do, but really isn%26#039;t quite as nice. Your notes don%26#039;t need to vary much in format, but personalize each a bit to fit the person or item given, %26amp; the notes can basically go something like this:

Address the person: Dear Ellen, Dear Pastor %26amp; Mrs. Smith,

Dear Mrs. Jones, Dear Sally, Tiffany, %26amp; Mary, Dear Aunt Sue.

Note what the event was in a positive way: I so enjoyed the baby shower given for me at Crossroads Church or The shower given by the members of Our Lady of Grace at the Olive Garden restaurant - was so much fun.

Mention the gift giver %26amp; something special about them: I%26#039;t was so nice to meet you at last, my mother has mentioned you so often. or It was great to see you and I love your new hairstyle. or I hadn%26#039;t seen you in so long and didn%26#039;t know your John was in service in Iraq - I%26#039;ll keep him in my prayers.

Thank them for the gift %26amp; tell them how you plan to use it (if cash, don%26#039;t mention dollar amounts.) Thank you for the lovely two piece blue romper set, it is adorable %26amp; I can%26#039;t wait for the baby to arrive to see him wearing it! or Thank you for your generous check. We are starting a savings fund for the baby%26#039;s future%26amp; your%26#039;s will be our first deposit! or Thank you so much for the disposable diapers, that%26#039;s one gift I%26#039;m sure to use as I%26#039;m told I can never have enough of those!

Give a final ending sentence, whatever you want to say: Zach %26amp; I are anxiously awaiting the birth and look forward to introducing you to our new arrival or The members of the church were so gracious to arrange this shower, thank you for your part in it. or whatever,

Then end it appropriately, however you feel toward the person, Best Regards, Love, Your%26#039;s truly, Then sign your name: If married, it can be like this Jennifer Smith Jones (include your maiden name, especially if that is how most of the church members may recognize you.)
Reply:I wish to thank everyone who were so kind for giving me the lovely baby shower and flowers.

Your thoughtfullness will never be forgotten and was so appreciated.

Again,a big thank you.

signed................................... ..................................(baby)
Reply:Did you happen to write down who gave you what ? If not , then just tell them that you want to thank them , for their kindness and the many beautiful things they provided for your child, and that it was very much appreciated.
Reply:i mentioned what they got, how i plan to use it and how greatly it was appriciated...then a simple thanks with all of our names
